All you need to know about the materials you collect in each drawer of your eco-bin, and why we need to recycle materials in different ways.
Paper, cardboard, books and phone directories
Paper includes letters, junk-mail and envelopes. Good quality books can be donated to your local charity shop for resale. Directories are usually recycled separately because of the colour and grade of the paper. Cardboard packaging can be squashed using the compressor.
