Other items
There are other items that can be recycled but should not be placed in the eco-bin. Items such as car batteries, tyres, engine oil, scrap metal, paint, TVs, monitors, wood, fluorescent tubes, garden waste, fridges and freezers can usually be taken to your local Household Waste Recycling Centre. Contact your local council for details.
